A Mother Time: Membership Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before joining A Mother Time. By purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
About A Mother Time
A Mother Time is an online membership community for self-employed mums, women who are navigating the unique challenge of running a business alongside motherhood. The community is designed to provide connection, practical support and a space to feel less alone.

A Mother Time is for self-employed mums, step-mums and women who are raising or caring for children whilst running their own business. We are an inclusive, supportive community and will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism or discrimination of any kind. We reserve the right to remove any member whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or harmful to others.
What's Included in Your Membership
Your A Mother Time membership includes:
• A WhatsApp community — real conversations, honest support, no pressure
• Monthly Business Clinics — a space to ask questions, get practical help and make decisions
• Guest speakers and workshops — handpicked with self-employed mums in mind
• Weekly anchors — gentle prompts and support throughout the week
• A resource and practical support bank
• A directory of mum-founded brands and businesses
• Online co-working sessions — light focus when you want it, toddlers, contact naps and pram walks welcome
The content and schedule of the membership may vary from time to time. Where sessions are postponed or cancelled for any reason, we will endeavour to rearrange them as soon as possible and will notify members via the WhatsApp community.
Membership Cost and Payment
The membership is priced at £34 per month. Payment is taken monthly via Stripe on the same date each month. By subscribing, you authorise A Mother Time to take recurring monthly payments from your chosen payment method.
Your membership rate is set at the time you subscribe. If you leave the membership and wish to rejoin at a later date, your original rate will no longer apply and the current price at the time of rejoining will be charged.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time. To cancel, please email hello@amothertime.com or manage your subscription through your Stripe customer portal. Cancellations made close to your next billing date may result in one further payment being taken, during which time you will retain access to all membership benefits.
We reserve the right to cancel any membership at any time. In the event that we cancel your membership, a pro-rata refund will be provided for the remainder of that billing period.
Refund Policy
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your membership and receive a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription date.
If you have accessed the WhatsApp community, attended any sessions, or made use of any membership resources within those 14 days, we reserve the right to deduct the value of the content accessed from any refund, along with any reasonable administrative costs.
After the 14-day period, we are under no obligation to provide a refund. To request a refund within the cancellation period, please contact hello@amothertime.com in writing.
Behaviour and Community Standards
All members are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect at all times. A Mother Time is a safe, supportive space and we take that seriously.
We reserve the right to remove any member whose behaviour is deemed offensive, harmful, or disruptive to others, with immediate effect and without refund.
We are not responsible for the behaviour or actions of other members within the community.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal data is collected and held in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use Stripe to process payments and Mailchimp to manage email communications.
As a member of A Mother Time, you will have access to the personal experiences and information shared by other members. By joining, you agree to treat all information shared within the community as confidential. You must not share, reproduce, or disclose anything shared by another member outside of the community without their explicit permission.
Breach of this confidentiality obligation may result in immediate removal from the membership. This obligation continues after you leave the community.
Intellectual Property
All content, resources, and materials provided as part of the A Mother Time membership remain the intellectual property of Gabi Lessels. Members are permitted to use materials for their own personal use but may not copy, share, distribute, or reproduce them for any other purpose without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
A Mother Time is a peer support community. While we provide practical resources, business clinics, and coaching input, all information is general in nature and is not tailored to your individual circumstances. We make no guarantees as to the business outcomes or results of any member.
Nothing within the membership should be construed as legal, financial, or medical advice. If you require specific professional advice, please seek it from a qualified professional.
We are not responsible for any loss, cost, or damage arising from actions taken or not taken as a result of information shared within the membership.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your membership shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to members as soon as possible via the WhatsApp community or email.
